Rescue Crews Free Construction Worker After Trench Collapse In Lower Pottsgrove

Fire crews freed a construction worker who was stuck in a trench while working at a site in Lower Pottsgrove Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

Firefighters arrived on the scene to free the conscious man who was stuck in a trench after a wall collapsed, around 1:15 p.m. on the 200 block of Evergreen Road, according to 6abc and Royersford Fire Company.

The worker was sent to EMS for further medical evaluation, authorities said.

No further information was available.
